The Assembly at Augusta

Security

The Security Team ensures the safety of guests and attendees, children and adults, across the entire campus.  In the event of an emergency, the Security Team springs into action.

Be in position 30 minutes before the service begins as the doors open.  Security is posted in various locations around the building, including: The lobby, Inside the main auditorium, roaming.

The only people who are allowed downstairs are children, volunteers with a current badge, parents who have kids, and staff with proper identification.  All other people should not be permitted in any part of the kid’s areas.

Stay in position until the sermon starts, and then take a seat on the aisle.  At the end of the service, get back in position, but wait until the closing comments and the last few seconds of the service.  Don’t move during the response time or prayer.   Because of the nature of the security team, this team never stops working while the service is going on.  Someone is always in place, and the team is always on alert.

Number of volunteers needed:  2-4 each Sunday.  Total 8-12

Fully staffed, we will only need volunteers to take a turn once every 4-6 weeks.
